Cohiba Macassar toro Grande is a long compact cigar from Cohiba. Its flavors come from various countries to make it flavorful. The main flavors of this cigar are pepper spice, creamy wood, and sweet coffee. All these maintain the upper-medium strength profile.

Design

Macassar toro Grande is a toro shape 6inch by 55ring gauge torpedo cigar stick. For a long design stick, it smokes for a long time. The end cap and the body look neat and well-shield. Also, nice looking chocolate color and texture on it. The silver and black band looks great on the Dark chocolate body.

Build quality

Connecticut Broadleaf was used for the binder; it came from the USA. The filler comes from Nicaraguan and Dominican Republic. All these make the flavors and build on the top-notch.

Wrapping

Connecticut Habana wrapper used to shield inside perfectly and blended all carefully and wrapped perfectly to provide a great construction. We got some veins and sponginess' on the body, but that’s natural.

Taste

Beginning portion

The beginning of the smoke got some dry wood and white pepper spice flavor. These blend well, and my tongue feels it very well. The smoke output was excellent. 

Middle portion

halfway down, dry wood transferred into strong creamy wood flavor, and some weakly mixed nut flavor came. Also, some mild spice flavor is still there. Smoke output was still great. 

Bottom portion

last of the middle portion to the bottom portion, nice light, and sweet coffee flavor coming, and with the earlier creamy and nut flavors, it feels like cinnamon now. Smoke output was smooth. It feels a little bit like an upper medium-bodied stick.

Burn

Top to bottom, the burning was perfect. Ash gets a little bit curvy but remains solid.

Summary 

For including Connecticut wrapper and perfectly blended flavor inside make this cigar impressive. Very nice smoke output and flavorful smoke were coming smoothly on this upper medium-bodied stick. The burning, as well as the ash, was solid and great. It's a real deal for any cigar lover.
