Cain Daytona is a full-bodied cigar made with rich tobaccos. This Daytona series is known for its medium taste and smooth filters. The core flavors of this Daytona cigar are mixed dried nuts, dark chocolate, and natural tobaccos.
Brand and Production
Cain Daytona is a compact cigar from Oliva. Oliva Cigars in Esteli, Nicaragua, manufacture this cigar.
Design
Cain Daytona Corona is a 6inch by 46ring gauge stick comes in Toro shape. The appearance of brown color on the body and a minimal texture looks amazing. On the body, the logo with orange and golden bands enhances the beauty of this cigar. Also, the end cap looks neat.
Build Quality
Build quality is very much solid. As its filler and binder by Nicaraguan from Jalapa Valley, no sponginess' seen on the body; it remains very much on its shape.
Wrapping
In Daytona, Cain used Habano oily Nicaraguan wrapper. This wrapper makes a great construction and successfully hides all the veins.
Flavor
Smelling the cigar body butterscotch and the semi-sweet scent coming nicely. After lighting, multiple flavors appear till the end.
Beginning Portion
Smoking a little bit, the main flavor seems to us the buttery mixed died nuts and with its mild black pepper spice also appears. The buttery almonds feel pretty much bold. We feel buttery all over on the first third.
Middle Portion
We see a huge shift in this portion. The taste of buttery mix dried nuts has completely disappeared. Here the main flavors that appear are dark chocolate and earth. Also, some mild black paper is still on there.
Bottom Portion
The shift continues here; natural tobaccos become the main flavor, and feel the floral sweetness at the finish. Also, the mixed dried nuts of almond and black paper spice again started appearing with the natural tobaccos. Mixing all its flavors, it still maintains medium strength.
Burn
The burn was great, and the lines are razer sharped. Nice solid ash was also coming, and the smoke was very smooth.
Summery
The full shifting of the flavors seems very interesting to us. We think using Cuban seed long leaf ligeros is a wise decision from Cain. This cigar kept its shape and strength all the time and proved a smooth medium finish.
