Brand and Production
Cain ‘F’ Nub By Oliva is a compact cigar of Nub Brand. Oliva Cigars make this cigar at their Nicaragua Estelle factory.
Cain ‘F’ is a short Robusto shape 4inch by 60ring gauge torpedo cigar. It appears in an oily dark brown color. It rolled very well, looks fat and compact. No veins seem or feel sponginess on the body. We got some brown textures on the body.
Build quality is great. Bold Nicaraguan long-leaf ligeros filler used in this cigar came from Nicaragua, and the binder came from Peru. It seems this recipe is blended well and carefully.
A thick oily Habano wrapper leaf is used here for wrapping. All ingredients compact well inside. For thick wrapper does not lose its shape or show bumpiness. The end cap is neat, and almost looks blended with the body.
Cold draw tastes woody, orange citrus, and very much like tobacco. Also, a medium sweet chocolate aroma was coming from the wrapper.
The beginning of the smoke got some woodiness cedar flavor. After some time, sweet leather flavor started appearing deeply. It seems that it is the main flavor in this portion. Also, we got mild earthiness at the finish.
Here this cigar introduced us to the chocolate and coffee bean flavor. Feel some spiciness and orange citrus in the background. Leather remains still there, but the woodiness cedar has gone invisible.
On this portion, earthiness and spiciness appear strongly and give something like a retro feel. Also, mild sweet leather and coffee bean flavor appears in the background at the finish.
The burn was incredible; it was razor-sharp till the end. Ash was also solid; no curve was seen there. Also, the smoke was coming smoothly.
This fuller-bodied cigar's appearance, build quality and taste impressed us. All the flavors blended carefully and filled perfectly by hand. Nub didn’t leave any mistake that we can show to them.
