Cohiba Connecticut is one of Cohiba’s luxurious cigars where you get a flavorful Mexican San Andres binder. The core flavor we got inside the cigar is sweet grassy, nut, spice, and leather. For the draw, this cigar got 90-point rating.

Cohiba makes Connecticut crystal. They produce this cigar in the Dominican Republic at their Scandinavian Tobacco Group Estelí S.A. factory.

Design 

Cohiba Connecticut crystal is a 5inch by 50ring gauge cigar comes in a Rubusto shape. Nice looking golden color Connecticut wrapper and some texture on it. Minimal seams and no veins on them. The white band looks very nice on the body.

Build quality

The fillers used in this luxurious cigar are Dominican Olor, Nicaraguan Jalapa, Brazilian Mata Fina, Brazilian Mata Fina. The binder is from Mexico. All builds a compact package.

Wrapping

The beautiful blonde leaf used in this cigar is a golden wrapper; it's called Ecuador Connecticut and looks very impressive. You barely see any veins on it even while zooming.

Taste 

The cigar smells sweet and creamy. After smoking the cigar, I got multiple flavors which remained till the end. Let’s move on to portion details. Test our another one:  Cohiba Blue.

Beginning portion 

On first impression, it blows our mind; we got bold, sweet grassy flavor, and some buttery toast flavor was coming with it. Smoking for quite a long time, the mild creamy leather flavor has started to come, and it mixes well with the others.

Middle portion

halfway down with the earlier flavors, I feel some nuts and spice flavor also coming nicely. It feels like some strong and some medium flavor mixed well and providing smooth smoke.

Bottom portion 

as the smoke continues, notice some slight turns. Some flavors got vanished, and some got a little bit thick. Leather and grassy flavor remain till the end to provide a medium sweet and smooth smoke.

Burn

The burn was amazing; no touch up needed at any point, and also, the ash was solid.

Summary 

This cigar’s blend was impressive, and all flavors stayed medium in maximum time. The burn was absolutely good. Smoke was coming smoothly till the end, and the ash remained very much solid. I didn't find anything to complain about, perfect to smoke with a cup of coffee or others.
