Brand and production

Gilberto Oliva Reserva Blanc 550 made by Oliva. The production of this cigar takes place at their Tabacalera Oliva factory in Nicaragua. In Nicaragua, it has been the best cigar-making company over the past 20 years.

Design

Reserva Blanc 550 is a Robusto shape 5inch by 50ring gauge cigar stick. This cigar appears mainly golden brown. We got some textures on the body. The shape is very much rounded, and the end cap looks really giant. Also, the band looks great on the body.

Build quality

The construction of this cigar is top class. All the ingredients are fully loaded here. Nicaraguan filler and Ecuador binder are used in this cigar. This top-quality binder hugged all the ingredients well.

Wrapping 

This cigar is wrapped with a golden-brown Ecuadorian wrapper. We know how quality full Connecticut wrapper is! There is some sponginess on the body, but we didn't see any vein on it.

Taste

It smells sweet and creamy for the Connecticut wrapper. Cold smoke was good; it tasted like sour fruit and dried wood flavor.

Beginning portion

On begging got a really good mixture of flavors. We feel that leather and sweet cedar grass flavor coming strongly. It seems to be the main flavor of this portion. Also, we got some nutty and spices coming with these perfectly. But it overall feels very much creamy.

Middle portion

Here natural tobacco is added with the cedar grass and leather. Not much change seems in this portion, but nutmeg becomes strong here along with the white pepper spice. Creaminess and sweetness are still there.

Bottom portion

Feel some flavor turns here. Almond and leather feel stronger here, but the sweetness and the white pepper spices captured their medium flavor to make the cigar medium strength. Smoke output was great, and Smoot.

Burn

Burning was great but not razor sharped. No touch up needed here. Also, the Ash was flaky and coming straight.

Summary

All the ingredients were captured perfectly by the Connecticut wrapper. It feels that there are all over Connecticut Ish flavors. Also, because of the good blend and build, smoke was coming smoothly.
