Brand and production
From the master blends series, Oliva Master Blends III is a cigar of Oliva cigar. They produced this cigar at the Tabacalera Oliva factory in Nicaragua.
This Oliva cigar appears in dark brown. It is a Robusto-shaped cigar that comes in a size of 5inch by 50 box-pressed sticks. We see some really good textures on this brown color body. The pictured band on the body looks really amazing. The end cap is also well shielded.
For the premium Nicaraguan filler and binder, this cigar gets a great construction. The Nicaraguan blend has the natural Ligero tobaccos and Habano seed.
Oliva Master Blends III is covered with the Sun-grown Connecticut broadleaf wrapper. They use an almost 3years old wrapper to provide the original smell and taste. We didn’t feel the sponginess’ and got almost no veins on the body.
The wrapper smells like spice, and peanut butter cold smoke gives a creamy cedar and pepper spice.
On the first smoke, we got the peppery thing all around; it seems it is the main flavor on this portion. Also, feel the creamy cedar appearing in the background, and it is coming on the tongue very well.
Smoking on this portion got the creamy tobacco flavor in the background; it changed a little bit from cedar to tobacco and provided some sweetness. Still, the pepper spices are there, and it feels like all types of peppers are there.
The previous flavors are still here. Just some coffee and wood get into the mixture. The Pepper spice is bold a little bit here to provide the strong profile flavors. Till the end, smoke output is coming smoothly.
The burn was excellent; beginning to bottom doesn't need any touchups. Ash was coming solidly and starlight.
Oliva does not compromise on any section while making this cigar. It burns well, smoke output was great, and flavors were excellent; I didn't find any section to complain. It’s like a haven for those who love a full-bodied spice.
