Oliva Serie 'G' is a premium medium-bodied cigar from Oliva. This cigar had all the authentic ingredients that provide natural taste and smoke. The core flavors of this cigar are spices, pepper, wood, leather, and natural tobacco. That’s why this cigar got almost 91-point and got the 11th position in 2007.

Brand and production

Oliva brand made this Serie G Double Robusto cigar. They produce this cigar at Tabolisa in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Design

Oliva Serie G is a Robusto-shaped 5inch by 54 box-pressed cigar sticks. It appears in a chocolate color. The body of this cigar is a little bit oily, and it has some textures on the body. The classical golden band on the cigar body looks fine. At last, the end cap is torpedo type and well shielded.

Build quality

As we told you, they used all the authentic ingredients in this cigar. From that thing, they used Habano long-leaf fillers in this cigar, which came from Nicaragua. It blends perfectly and compacts inside deeply.

Wrapping

For covering the outer side, they used an authentic African Cameroon wrapper. They mostly use aged wrapped to provide the original taste. This wrapper holds all the ingredients really well and provides a great construction. We didn't find any soft spots or veins on the surface.

Taste

The wrapper scents like chocolaty and on pre-fire draw got really good candy and cocoa flavor.

Beginning portion

The beginning of the smoke got a really good Oak flavor all around. Smoke a little bit deep got the almond and natural tobacco flavor. All were coming nicely but in bold flavors. Nice sweet chocolate and spice aroma appears in the background to provide a nice first third.

Middle portion

Floral notes and pepper spice appear strongly in this portion. Also, the rest of the flavors are still there. All flavors come nicely on the tongue, and the sweet chocolate aroma makes the environment very nice.

Bottom portion

Flavors didn’t change much; only the strength gets a little bit up and down to maintain the sweet flavor. Earthy and leather were added to this portion to maintain the medium profile of this cigar. All flavors were getting standard in every portion.

Burn

Brun was good, no touchup was needed at any point, and the smoke time was amazing. Ash was solid and a little bit curvy.

Summary

Some flavors were bold, some here, and some got mild. But the flavors were rich. They were maintaining the medium profile and heavy flavorful smoke output. All over, the authentic ingredients play their role very well.
