Oliva Serie 'G' Maduro is a handmade cigar known for its rich ingredients and flavorful taste. The main flavors of this cigar are coffee, chocolaty, pepper, and wood. It is a medium-strength and bodied cigar, scores almost 93 points almost in all sectors.

Brand and production

Oliva Serie 'G' Maduro Belicoso is an Oliva brand cigar. They do their production of their cigars at Tabacalera Oliva factory in Nicaragua.

Design

Serie 'G' Maduro is a Belicoso shaped dark chocolate color cigar. The surface of This cigar is a little bit oily. The size of this cigar is 5inch by 52 box-pressed stick. There are some textures on the surface but are not clearly visible for the dark color. The classical golden-white band looks very nice on the surface.

Build quality

It is a handmade cigar, and the Ingredients are from their own farm; that's why the build quality is top class. They used Nicaraguan long-leaf tobaccos and Habano seed fillers, and Cuban seed Habano binder in this cigar. The binder hugged the ingredients perfectly to provide a compact build.

Wrapping

They used a toothy Maduro leaf wrapper in this cigar. It is a little bit dark and oily. This wrapper covers all the ingredients very well and doesn't lose its shape. We didn't see many veins on the surface and any sponginess'.

Taste

The wrapper smells like a bar of chocolate and wood. The pre-firing draw feels like chocolaty all around.

Begging portion

On the first smoke, feel the coffee and chocolaty flavor. Also, there was a nice sweet aroma all around. But there was huge spice and wood on the draw, specifically chili powder. We feel that the wood is the main flavor here. It was bold and mixed with the others nicely.

Middle portion

Here the wood thing is sill there; it feels a little bit wet wood. Spice and coffee flavor were there also. We feel the earthy-sweet aroma is still there in the background to provide a sweetie medium smoke.

Bottom portion

We didn't feel much change in this portion. With the chili powder, black pepper spice added here, and it gets bold here. Maximum flavors are still there, but they get a little bit mild at the finish.

Burn

The burn was very good. The draw was smooth and coming nicely. Ash was solid and almost straight.

Summary

Favor profile of this is cigar is very good for the filler and the wrapper. Construction was great, and the draw was coming smoothly. It's a very good cigar to enjoy with a cup of coffee.
